About
Welcome to Dancing Roll, a remarkable fusion of Japanese and Korean cuisine located at 7759 Tylersville Rd, West Chester, OH 45069. As a proud food reviewer for Foodjoyy, I’m excited to share my thoughts on this vibrant establishment that promises a delightful dining experience.
Dancing Roll stands out not only for its delicious offerings but also for its extensive utilities that enhance every visit:
One of the highlights that many customers rave about is the 50% off sushi deal, which presents an incredible value for high-quality sushi. Jeanee F., a loyal patron, emphasizes how the complimentary miso soup serves as a lovely starter, setting the tone for a delightful meal. With a vast array of sushi rolls and a well-priced menu, it's easy to see why this is a local favorite!
Another standout dish is the spicy ramen, creatively made with an egg drop soup base. Bronte W. notes that despite the slightly smaller portion sizes, the flavor and satisfaction level are consistently high. At Dancing Roll, each bite feels like a celebration of taste that invites you to return time and again.
However, the appeal of Dancing Roll extends beyond its delectable dishes. The relaxing casual atmosphere makes it a great spot for families, friends, or a laid-back dinner after work. The friendly staff and welcoming environment, while sometimes needing a touch more warmth, ensure that every guest feels at home. Owen H. shares that the service is consistently friendly and that the overall establishment is nice, merging comfort with quality dining.
As we delve deeper into the cuisine, let’s not forget about the plastic-free packaging—a testament to Grinding Roll's commitment to sustainability, ensuring that your meal is not just delicious, but also environmentally conscious.
If you’re in the mood for a quick bite or planning a meal out, look no further than Dancing Roll. With their excellent sushi deals, charming ambiance, and satisfying flavors, it’s a culinary experience that shouldn’t be missed. Don’t forget to indulge in the miso soup while you’re there—it’s a signature touch that leaves a lasting impression!

“ The food, especially 1/2 price sushi, is fabulous! Along with each order, you also get yummy miso soup before your dish arrives. Dancing Roll is a local restaurant we visit every few weeks. I hesitate to post this review, bc our best kept secret will be out of the bag!! ”
“ This is one of our favorite places to order sushi. Rolls are a little on the small side, but still great value and taste. We also always get the spicy ramen which is made in egg drop soup which is amazing. I do miss their old location which had a lot of character, but we still enjoy going to the new location often. Service is always good and we can usually be in and out relatively quick. Always recommend people try here when they say they like sushi. ”
“ I have reviewed Dancing Roll several times now, but love it so much I never want to miss a chance to give them another five stars! I visited yesterday after a dr appt and it was the best treat. I love that each meal starts with a complimentary miso soup. Sushi is always half price, so my total for 2 rolls and a soup was only $14 which is a steal for quality sushi. ”
“ I think for what it is this place is great. Dancing roll has some awesome options for some quick and cheap sushi. The service is always friendly, and the establishment is nice. I will say they don't do the greatest in my experience with updating online information and their phone is full often. I think this is a great role player that can sometimes be over hated, like a De'Angelo Russel. Whenever in the area it's definitely in consideration for a place to stop at. ”
“ Have been here twice! The first time, my boyfriend and I visited here on a Monday evening. Service was quick, place clean, and food was delicious! I really enjoyed the miso, ginger salad, and the tuna roll. One thing that was confusing was that the prices on the menu were higher than what was on our bill, which resulted in us not ordering as much, only to find out after the fact that the sushi was 50% off. As we were leaving, we noticed that there was a banner saying that the rolls were 50% off. I think it would be helpful if the server mentions this at the beginning in case others miss the banner like we did. After some research on their site, I realized that this discount is every day. It would make more sense if the prices were already discounted on the menu. We ended up returning about a month later and ordered the same menu items as the first time plus a cali roll, veggie roll, and Alaskian roll. Everything tasted great! One thing I did notice both times tho was that the staff's friendliness was simply alright. Both servers that we had were quite flat-toned and it was almost unwelcoming. I completely understand that the customer service industry can be grueling however it is important to be more welcoming & warm to guests! ”
“ You'll dance in and roll out! Love this place! I could honestly stop my review right here. But, I can't do that because I'll get that one person in the back, with their arms folded and a sour puss look on their face asking, "yeah...but why?" So, for the benefit of Sour Sam and anyone else checking out Dancing Roll, here we go... Typically I go here for sushi rolls. But, since I'm not opposed to trying new things, I really stumbled into a flavorful gem that is called Dolsot Bibimbap. I've never had anything quite like it. Served in a piping hot stone bowl that I believe is heated directly on the surface of the sun, this tasty entree obliterates what some may call a rice bowl. With your choice of Beef, Chicken or Tofu, this bowl is a combination of fried egg and vegetables served with a delicious side of Korean spicy sauce. Wow! Flavor overload. And, there's a lot of it so you may be taking some home. For the Appetizers, I've not gone wrong with the House Salad, Crab Rangoon, Calamari or, my favorite, the Gyozas. They offer dozens of Sushi Rolls. You'll find your favorites and also their list of Special Sushi Rolls. Always fresh, made to order and tasty. They also have a great selection of Nigiri and Sashimi. Beyond the aforementioned Dolsot Bibimbap, they have a nice variety of Entree's and Noodles to choose from as well. I've never had room to try any but they do have a few desserts to choose from as well. Would I go back? I dance in there as often as I can and 100% roll out full of sushi goodness. By far, Dancing Roll is at the top of the list for sushi houses in our area. ”
“ Delicious food and fun atmosphere. I met some family here and we were helped by a great waitress. Even with all of the rain, we had a nice time walking around the small shopping area after we ate. ”
“ We love good sushi and that's what we had here, service was fast and friendly, and the entrees were quality as well! This place offers great value and portions and will definitely remain on the list of options for sushi night. ”
“ We love their sushi, especially the flash fried one monday and sunday rolls. But we have branched out to try several. We generally get 2 or 3 rolls each. Some of the rolls are smallvand some large. Id had trouble grabbing the large rolls but figured out stabbing the roll with my chopsticks worked best. I am chopstick challenged... i like the take out type but dont break them apart, so its like wooden tweezers. My Asian friends think its humorous but it works. Also tried their fried crab ragons. Yum. They start with miso soup which felt great to my throat. Dont be afraid of kimchi roll ...it wasnt too spicy. Prices.. they used to have it posted buy 1 roll and the second was discounted. They no longer had it posted and the prices had increased. I asked and she said all rolls are half off. Why not have that indicated on the menu or better yet just put the real price. ??? I huess every one likes a sale. ”
